This week saw us cleaning upholstery on a 3 seat sofa in the lovely Lincolnshire village of Billinghay. It has been a very busy few weeks for Lincs Carpet Cleaning, so please accept my apologies for the lack of posts. For this upholstery clean I have added a before cleaning and after cleaning picture to highlight the results of what Lincs carpet Cleaning can do. This 3 seater sofa needed a good dry vacuum to remove loose dirt and cat hair. We then used our high end pre spray solution, along with our special upholstery brushes to agitate the chemicals to loosen as much of the soiling as possible. At this point foam can often be seen which looks like shampoo.

After this process we use a hot water extraction which removes the chemicals and most of the moisture. This is good for a few reasons, the first being the more water we can take out, then the greater the amount of dirt that will be removed. It also means the more upholstery cleaning water that we suck out the shorter the drying time will be. It is always nice when we clean upholstery and the customer is there with us to see the process and the results straight away.
